What are the Parts of a microscope?

Microscope are a power full tool for examining cells and cell structures ,Drawing is important for a permanent record of what is seen in examining a specimens ,therefore, it is important to draw what is actually seen (depended on the resolution). Resolution refers to the ability of a microscope to separate small objective that are very close together and to see greater detail. Drawing forces us to observe closely together and to see greater detail. Microscope is useful for students to practice using the light microscope, to recognize cells and structures and translate it into drawing, to familiarize the students to how to write a proper scientific report.

Structural Parts of a Microscope

The structural Parts of Microscope Provide Supports And Connecting all the components of a Microscope. There are Present Three Important structural Parts of Microscope. Such as head ,arm, Base.

Base or foot : It shapes and structure like Horse shoe ,its provide the balance of whole body, which stabilize the whole body and system, and the the base of the microscope contains the illuminator and support microscope.

Piller: Pillar helps to hold the microscope at constant position at particular angle. and pillar make support whole body.

Arm: Arm is a specific part of the microscope which have all parts are mounted on that. And it is the part of microscope that connects the eyepiece tubes to the base

Body: is attached to the top edge of the arm, the hallow tube holds the all optical parts of the microscope, all the lenses is easy to up and down.

Mechanical Parts

The Mechanical Parts which hold the structure together and control their use; the optical and the illuminating parts which regulate the light trays inculding the formation of images. Study The Movable parts and see how each functions.

Stage: The parts where the object to be examined is placed.

Clips: Hold the slide Securely in positions in two clips.

Diaphragm: It used to control the light and the amount light which passes through the stage, and it helps to make stable the slide at proper place.

Nose Piece: It is the circular structure where the various objective lenses and screwed in.

Adjustment Knobs : It helps and make important role in microscope it make significant stage position adjustment before the focusing.

Optical Parts

It is a source of a microscope that uses  visible light and a system to lenses to magnify the small sample of specimens.

Illuminator:. it the light source of the microscope for clearness and easy to focusing the object or specimens

Condenser: It plays very important role, it used to collect and focus the light from the illuminator o  the specimens

Objectives: the magnification of a particular specimens  and the resolution under which fine specimen detailes .Generally in schools and colleges, you will find 5x, 10x, and 45x objectives being used in biology or physics labs.

There you go, now you know everything that makes up a microscope.
